Senior Consultant (Contract)-Adobe Workfront and Fusion

Contract

Do Good Digital is seeking a Senior Workfront Consultant on a contract basis (1099 or Corp-to-Corp) to bridge strategic consulting and technical delivery for enterprise clients. The role combines Workfront configuration expertise with Fusion automation/integration design, and is explicitly not a ticket-taking administrator position. Remote within the US, with engagement length and hours based on client scope, and potential for renewal or extension.

About the role

The consultant will work directly with enterprise clients to evaluate business processes, lead requirements and solution-design conversations, configure sophisticated Workfront environments, and design scalable Fusion automations and integrations. Success in this role requires translating complex business and operational needs into thoughtful, maintainable solutions — facilitating workshops, advising senior stakeholders, developing technical designs, troubleshooting integrations, and guiding clients toward stronger governance and operational maturity.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery sessions, requirements workshops, solution-design discussions, and working sessions

  • Evaluate business processes, operational challenges, technical environments, and transformation goals

  • Translate requirements into scalable Workfront and Fusion solutions

  • Configure and optimize Workfront environments: custom forms, request queues, project/task workflows, templates, approval processes, portfolios and programs, dashboards and reports, governance structures, user access and system administration

  • Design, build, test, deploy, document, and maintain Fusion scenarios across multiple enterprise systems

  • Develop integrations using APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and authentication methods

  • Troubleshoot Fusion scenarios, API connections, data-mapping issues, and integration defects

  • Develop solution-design documentation, technical specs, process maps, and configuration workbooks

  • Lead or support UAT, defect resolution, deployment planning, go-live activities, and post-launch stabilization

  • Deliver client training and end-user/admin enablement sessions

  • Advise clients on Workfront/Fusion best practices (intake, governance, reporting, workflow design, automation, resource management)

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve adoption

  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Developers, and other consultants

  • Provide senior-level quality oversight on scalability and maintainability

  • Manage multiple client engagements while communicating risks, dependencies, and progress

What we're looking for

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Adobe Workfront consulting, administration, implementation, or solution-design experience

  • Adobe Workfront Developer Core certification (required)

  • Adobe Workfront Fusion certification (required)

  • Demonstrated experience building multi-system Fusion automations (not single-connector or POC work)

  • Experience working directly with enterprise clients in a consulting/agency/professional-services setting

  • Advanced understanding of Workfront configuration, administration, governance, and reporting

  • Strong grasp of business-process design, workflow optimization, requirements gathering, and solution architecture

  • Experience integrating Workfront via REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and common auth methods

  • Ability to read API documentation and independently design integrations

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Fusion, Workfront config, APIs, and data

  • Experience producing technical documentation and solution designs

  • Ability to facilitate conversations with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

  • Experience training end users, admins, PMs, and business stakeholders

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and client-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

  • Ability to work independently with proactive communication

  • Strong judgment and attention to detail

  • Legally authorized to work in the US; must reside in the US; fluent English; reliable high-speed internet; camera-on for client meetings

Nice to have

Preferred Experience

  • Adobe Certified Expert or Master certification (Workfront-related)

  • Frame.io experience or integration work

  • Adobe Experience Manager certification or hands-on AEM experience (Assets or Sites)

  • Integration experience with Airtable, Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, or similar

  • Experience with change management or business-process consulting

  • Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments
